Sonoma, CA – St. Benoit Creamery unveiled an updated and refreshed look for its line of organic yogurts and milk. The evolution of the brand includes its philosophy of “REAL FOOD, REAL GOOD,” reflecting the line’s key attributes: Organic, Pasture-Raised, Jersey cow’s milk, and California-inspired.
Beginning in November, trade and consumers will start seeing the streamlined logo and updated labels on store shelves. The new look features a simplified version of the distinctive St. Benoit “green” logo, with better legibility and visibility. The full refreshed line-up will be in distribution in December 2018.
Remaining intact is the brand’s unique clear glass packaging that boldly highlights the yogurts which solely use milk from a single herd of pastured Jersey cows. Located just 26 miles from the farm, St. Benoit Creamery produces in a certified LEED Gold facility (solar panels, water recycling program) situated in the heart of Sonoma wine country.
“The new look really translates our values – who we are as food artisans and food lovers," states Vanessa Chang, St. Benoit Creamery’s Brand Manager. “We’re striving to change the yogurt landscape with a better-for-you dairy option, using real food. It’s extraordinary milk (with lots of good fats) and cultures in our Plain yogurt – that's it.”
St. Benoit’s range of yogurts features clean label recipes that are also lower in added sugar. The company doesn’t use any thickeners, emulsifiers, or stabilizers (such as cornstarch) for its cup-set yogurt. The result is a balanced flavor that’s mildly tangy with a creamy and light texture – a unique and slightly indulgent experience that also has the benefits of the live active culture strains of L. bulgaricus, S. Thermophilus, and Bifidobacterium.
St. Benoit Creamery’s Organic Plain yogurt was recently named a Good Food Awards Finalist – the only yogurt to be honored in the highly competitive Cheese category.
