One of the best things about Petaluma is the Della Fattoria Cafe Bakery, included in Bon Appetit magazine’s list of the “Top 10 Best Bread Bakeries in America.”
Another is the Artisan Cheese Festival, March 18-20 inside and around the Sheraton-Sonoma County in Petaluma, and at farms in Marin and Sonoma counties.
For the first time, the Sacramento region will be included in the fest, with farm tours March 18. The Capitol Area Tour North will visit the Pedrozco Dairy and Cheese Co., Orland Farmstead Creamery and the Sierra Nevada Cheese Co. The Capitol Area Tour South will make stops at Fiscalini Farms, Nicolau Farms, Nutcher Milk Co. and the Michael David Winery.
