Beaverton, WA – Reser’s announces the winners in the third annual America’s Best Potato Salad Challenge. Fifteen finalists, including BBQ teams and home cooks from across the nation, competed to take home top honors in this ultimate potato salad competition at The World Food Championships. Recipes were judged by Reser’s culinary team, as well as celebrity chefs including Whitney Miller (“Master Chef” winner) and Food Network Star alums Emily Ellyn and Vic Vegas.
This year’s grand prize winner is Big Woodie BBQ from Missouri whose “It’s a Big Dill” potato salad proved to be a big deal with judges. "I was impressed with the creativity of all of the contestants. In the end, the winning recipe was a more traditional style of potato salad. It's a Big Dill had a flavor profile and crave-ability that made the judges choice easy,” states Chef Jeff Q., from Reser’s Fine Foods.

Contest Prizes
The top 4 winners each received cash prizes ranging from $250-$2500 and the grand prize winner took home the $5,000 grand prize.
Reser’s Cares To Donate To Hunger Organization
In addition to the cash award, Reser’s Cares will also make a food donation to help feed the nation’s hungry. Reser’s is working with Big Woodie BBQ to select a local hunger organization to help families in need and will announce more information about this donation soon.
