Palace Foods To Invest $5M In McCormick County, SC Facility

Specialty food manufacturer Palace Foods is investing $5 million in a new operation in McCormick County that is expected to create at least 30 jobs.

The 20,000-square-foot facility will be located at 8399 Highway 28 South in Plum Branch. Production is expected to start in the spring of 2018, with hiring slated to begin next fall.

“Palace Foods is honored to be joining the South Carolina business community,” Palace Foods owner Michael Davidson said in a release. “We thank the people of South Carolina for their generosity, and look forward to working together.”
