Noble Roman’s Inc. reported higher profit and revenue in the second quarter, compared to the same period a year ago.
The Indianapolis-based franchisor of Noble Roman’s Pizza and Tuscano’s Italian Style Subs said late Monday that it earned $503,000, or 3 cents per share, compared with $431,000, or 2 cents per share, in the second quarter of 2013.
Revenue rose 5 percent, to $2.1 million.
The company said it continues to focus on growth in three primary areas: franchises and licenses in convenience stores; take-and-bake pizzas in grocery stores; and stand-alone take-and-bake franchised locations.
