She's called herself a "cheese geek" for some time, and now, as a newly minted certified cheese professional (one of only 400 in the nation), Jeanne Carpenter can write that title with capital letters.
The founder of Wisconsin Cheese Originals, a dues-supported "cheese club," keeper of the informative Cheese Underground blog, organizer of numerous cheese events around the state and former consultant to cheesemakers, is now embarking on another new venture.
"Cheesetopia" comes to Milwaukee next April 12.
