Mrs. Grissom's Names McIntosh To New VP Post

Nashville,TN — Grissom’s Foods Founder Grace Grissom announced the promotion of Keith McIntosh to Vice President and General Manager.

McIntosh joined the company in 2010 and Mrs. Grissom praised him for an outstanding job of creating new products and revenue opportunities for the company. “Keith was hired by Jack McGee, who retired after over 45 years with the company,” commented Mrs. Grissom. “He had some mighty big shoes to fill but he’s demonstrated that he was the right man for the job.  I’m very excited about the direction of the company with Keith as VP and General Manger.”

McIntosh, a thirty-year veteran of the food processing and packaging industry, oversees all internal operations at Grissom’s Nashville facility.

“We feel very fortunate to have someone with Keith’s extensive knowledge of and experience in the food processing and packaging business,” said Grissom CEO Kenneth Funger.  “Keith brought a fresh perspective to our company and has done an outstanding job in improving plant and employee efficiencies. He’s also developed new products to compliment our current offerings of ready-to-eat salads and sandwich spreads. He is a perfect combination of old fashion values and futuristic thinking. We’re very fortunate to have him on our team.”

A Logansport, Indiana native, McIntosh has spent the past twenty-four years in Middle Tennessee, eight-teen of which were with Shoney’s, Inc.

“I love this Mrs. Grissom and consider it an honor to be associated with such a successful business person,” said McIntosh.  “And working for one of the South’s oldest and most respected companies is just icing on the cake. It’s my dream job.”
