How often do you get the chance to try more than 300 different cheeses?
Not for the lactose-intolerant, Saturday’s Jungle Jim’s Big Cheese Festival will offer 50 booths of local, artisan and international cheeses ripe for the trying. There will be charcuterie to accompany the cheese, and beer and wine pairings will be available for an extra charge.
Also on tap: Guinness World Records-recognized cheese carver Sarah Kaufmann; Jason Sobocinski, host of “The Big Cheese” on the Food Network, who will share recipes in the Jungle Jim’s cooking school; The Schnapps Band; and cheese-related activities for the whole family.
