Italian cheese producer Sabelli is aiming to boost exports, buy another company in Europe, and reinforce its productive and logistics structure as it eyes a potential stock market listing.
The company, based in Ascoli Piceno in the Marche region, last October bought fellow mozzarella maker Trevisanalat. The deal has given life to a group with €120 million in annual turnover which makes it the second biggest Italian producer of mozzarella.
“Growth overseas, especially in the countries of central and eastern Europe, is one of the priorities of the new pole we have created, along with a diversification of our product offer,” said Chief Executive Simone Mariani.
