April 21, 2010, Lisle, Ill. – There’s delicious news from Hellmann’s® … new Hellmann’s Light® Mayonnaise is now available. Made with 100% certified cage-free eggs, Hellmann’s Light® Mayonnaise delivers the same great taste as Hellmann’s® Real Mayonnaise – but with half the fat and calories.

Consumers today are becoming increasingly aware of what’s in the food they eat, which is why Hellmann’s® has made the switch to cage-free eggs in its new Light Mayonnaise. The eggs used in Hellmann's Light® Mayonnaise are “American Humane Certified,” a certification program administered by the American Humane Association (AHA), the leading certifier of cage-free eggs in the U.S. Between the foodservice and retail manufacturing operations, Hellmann’s® will be using approximately 3.5 million pounds of cage-free eggs annually.
