The Great Lakes HPP Food Innovation Center in Taylor is getting ready for a grand opening Thursday.
Jack and Annette Aronson, co-founders of Garden Fresh Gourmet, are opening the center with the intention of helping Michigan's food industry access one of the largest high-pressure processing machines in the world that can help extend the shelf life of their products.
Before being acquired by New Jersey-based Campbell Soup Co. (NYSE: CPB) in 2015, Garden Fresh did not have access to the technology in Michigan, Jack Aronson said.
