Free Lunch Equals Quality Control At Dietz & Watson

It's BYOB all day long at Dietz & Watson, the Philly-based deli meat, cheese and hot dog maker.

Every day, the company sets out free platters of cold cuts and cheeses for employees. On Thursdays, the grills come out for the company's sausages, hot dogs and kielbasi. BYOB means bring your own bread, or bring your bun.

"It's something we've done forever and it's a great perk," Louis Eni, chief executive of Dietz & Watson told me during our Executive Q & A published in Sunday's Philadelphia Inquirer. "But think about it. It's also a great quality control measure.
