Pine Plains, NY – Coach Farm, producer of awardwinning farmstead goat milk cheese’s and yogurt, adds individual 1 oz. packaging to its Fresh Goat Cheese line to meet growing foodservice and snack packaging demands.
“As premade grabandgo snack and meal packaging continues to grow and manufactures look to elevate the ingredients within the dishes, we wanted to create packaging that meets demand,” states Steve Margarites, President of Coach Farm. “Additionally, to keep food services costs in line, the chefs we work with have been requesting preportioned 1 oz. fresh goat cheese buttons. We believe with the launch of this product we can meet all food service demands.”
Each 1 oz. fresh goat cheese button is individually vacuum packaged to ensure an extended shelf life and makes for easy grabandgo meal preparations. The products will be available in two pack sizes: 160/1oz. or 24/1oz. and will have a suggested retail price of $12.99/lb.
Those attending Specialty Food Associations Winter Fancy Food Show, held in San Francisco, Calif. on Jan. 19 21, 2014, will have the first look at the new packaging. Distribution will begin at the end of January 2014.
