Carr Valley Cheese's Cave Aged Marissa Earns 2018 World Cheese Awards Super Gold

We're excited to take home 9 awards from the 2018 World Cheese Awards in Bergen, Norway–including SUPER GOLD! Cave Aged Marisa was named one of the 78 best cheeses in the world.

A record-breaking 3,500 cheeses from every corner of the globe were judged by an international panel of 230 experts from 29 nations. 

Cave Aged Marisa is a sheep milk cheese named after Master Cheesemaker, Sid Cook's, daughter. It is made in Mauston, Wisconsin using local milk then carefully cave aged to develop an earthy and complex flavor.
