West Palm Beach, FL – Borgo de Medici, one of Italy’s most popular Tuscan Specialty Food purveyors has appointed The Cristol Group, Inc. to act as Brand Manager and Master Broker for the USA.
Massimo Pugi, Founder & President of Borgo de Medici and Sam Cristol, President of the Lake Worth, FL Brokerage got together last year to form a partnership to appoint The Cristol Group as their Master Broker. Pugi stated “Now they will also act as our Brand Manager to consolidate the entire process with our new office next to theirs and we’ll close our office in Connecticut. I feel confident that Sam Cristol and his organization have proven to be more efficient and conscientious in building our brands.” The Cristol Group’s CharKa Shafer will continue to work with the brokers around the country as the BdM Broker Manager. Beginning in June, all invoicing and other management duties will be handled from our suburban West Palm Beach, Florida office. Cristol says “We did four times our goal for year one proving that Borgo de Medici is a quality line appreciated by our customers and our brokers. Consolidating the management and sales in one office was needed to manage it properly. Also, Our “Antico Molino” labeled products can be sold to grocery and we’re doing private label for distributors as well. Shipping will remain in NJ, but with a new warehouse to serve our customers more efficiently.
