Americans eat millions of foil-wrapped Laughing Cow wedges and red-rind Mini Babybels from the Bel Group each day. And now Bel is working on what you'll be eating in 2020.
The new Laughing Cow Creamy Asiago Cheese, developed in Chicago, hit the market in January, along with Cheese Dippers snacks with tiny breadsticks.
While a new flavor can come to market quickly, developing a new product typically takes three years, said Frederic Nalis, who runs the Chicago-based U.S. operations of Bel Group, owner of The Laughing Cow and Mini Babybel processed cheese brands.
