Washington Raw Milk Dairy Farm Pulls Milk From Retail Stores Due To E. Coli Found By State Inspectors

TENINO, WA. — For the second time this month unpasteurized raw milk has been pulled from retail dairy cases in Washington state due to E. coli contamination.

This time the milk being recalled is from Cozy Vale Creamery of Tenino, WA. Earlier this month the Pride & Joy Dairy based in Granger, WA, recalled its raw milk, also because of E. coli contamination found by the state agriculture department.

At the Cozy Vale Cremery Wash. State Department of Agriculture inspectors discovered the contamination in a sample of the dairy’s raw milk and is working with the dairy owners to determine the source of the Shiga toxin-producing E. coli, according to an FDA recall notice.
