ROSEBURG, Ore. — A local dairy manufacturer racked up awards at this year's Oregon Dairy Industries Convention and there's still more to come.
Umpqua Dairy took first place in Cottage Cheese and second in Sour Cream.
It scored second in both Vanilla and Chocolate Ice Cream categories as well.
But the company is making waves nationally too, recently named finalists in three separate excellence categories by the Illinois-based Quality Checked company.
