Oceanside, Calif — Italy is coming to New York. Sweetaly Dolceria, artisanal desserts handmade by four Italians living in California, will debut their newest flavor combination, Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake, during the Summer Fancy Food Show, June 25-27, 2017, booth #4912, at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
Sweetaly Dolceria’s parfait-like desserts are made with family, friends and feasts in mind. The single-serving, individually-packaged portions feature reusable glass jars and resealable lids and are made with rBST-free cream and milk, pure organic cane sugar, non-GMO chocolate, and never any artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners or preservatives. Co-founders Michele Santoro, Oliviero Colmignoli, Gaetano Squillante and Stefano Amelio met over 30 years ago in Rome and wanted to bring Europe’s hottest food trend- refrigerated desserts- to the US market.
Each three-ounce dessert is hand-assembled in Oceanside, California, by Santoro, Squillante, Amelio. The trio pays special attention to quality every step of the way from partnering with sustainable farms for fresh ingredients to when the toppings are added. On any given day, they can assemble almost 5000 jars.
The Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake will join the current Sweetaly dessert family which includes Tiramisu, Panna Cotta Cappuccino, Panna Cotta Sea Salted Caramel and Chocolate Mousse. Sweetaly sources only the freshest Italian ricotta cheese and lemon flavors to ensure the cheesecake is a light, refreshing treat that doesn’t weigh you down or sacrifice the satisfying flavors taste buds desire.
“Each recipe Sweetaly creates is thoroughly researched to ensure it is as authentically Italian as possible. We put in a lot of hours in the kitchen testing different ingredients for the Lemon RIcotta Cheesecake and have perfected it for its Fancy Food debut,” said Michele Santoro, co-founder of Sweetaly. “We’re looking forward to our first Summer Fancy Food and introducing the entire Sweetaly line to attendees.”
All Sweetaly desserts have a 30-day shelf life when refrigerated and 9-month shelf life when frozen.
