LISLE, Illinois — Quality Chekd Dairies announced that Umpqua Dairy Products, Co. of Roseburg, Oregon, was named recipient of the 2015 Outstanding Marketing Achievement Award in the category; ‘Best Single Product Campaign’ for their ‘POW, Power of Protein’ Cottage Cheese Promotion. The announcement is confirmation of their “Best in Class” marketing plans which display complementary elements of creativity, implementation, and delivery of positive strategic results.

Every year an independent panel reviews the numerous Outstanding Marketing Achievement Award entries for the ‘Best Single Product Campaign’ category. The judges review each dairy’s marketing plan, promotional materials, merchandising programs, their ability to enhance brand awareness and generate positive sales results, and determine a winner based on the total package presentation.
“Umpqua Dairy was honored for their innovative approach to marketing its brand and executing a campaign that led to noteworthy results. They are most deserving of this honor,” said Peter Horvath, president of Quality Chekd.
This year’s finalists for the Outstanding Marketing Achievement Award’s ‘Best Single Product Campaign’ category also included Quality Chekd members Hiland Dairy (Springfield, MO) and Upstate Niagara Cooperative (Buffalo, NY).
Quality Chekd, a member-owned organization of independent dairy processors located throughout the United States, Columbia, Guatemala and Mexico, presented the Outstanding Marketing Achievement Award at its 2015 QCS Leadership Conference held April 19-21 at the Red Rock Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
