Pearl Valley Cheese Earns SQF Certification

Pearl Valley Cheese, a family-owned and operated cheese manufacturer in Fresno, recently earned the certification of Safe Quality Food level two for the first time.

The certification was developed by the Safe Quality Food Initiative. To attain the certification, the company had to undergo an intensive three-day audit process where an independent auditor inspected the facility and reviewed company policies and production records, ensuring the company adhered strictly to the SQF standards.

SQF level two approval status gives customers additional confidence that extreme care is taken to insure that the company's products meet industry standards for food safety on a daily basis.
