Organic Meadow Named Exclusive Dairy Sponsor For Canada's National Organic Week

GUELPH, ONTARIO – Organic Meadow, Canada's oldest organic dairy co-operative and leading organic dairy brand, announced today it will be the exclusive dairy sponsor for Canada's National Organic Week, from September 20-28, 2014.

"Over the past 25 years our co-operative members have dedicated themselves to be champions of the organic movement, not only for our co-operative, but for the good of the entire organic sector," says Don Rees, CEO, Organic Meadow. "They were the true pioneers and this legacy of authenticity and commitment to organics is in our DNA. We continue to hold this core to our company values and we always will. That is why partnering with Organic Week is a natural fit for us."

Organic Meadow will be celebrating Canada's National Organic Week throughout the entire month of September with a multifaceted campaign including print advertisements, organic farm tours, farmer social media takeovers and a series of in-store demonstrations at select retail partners including Organic Garage, Nature's Emporium, The Big Carrot and Whole Foods Markets. The campaign is a continuation of Organic Meadow's yearlong celebrations for its 25th anniversary.

In its fifth year, Canada's National Organic Week is the country's largest annual celebration of organic food and sustainable agriculture. A collaboration of the Canada Organic Trade Association (COTA), the Canadian Health Food Association (CHFA) and the Canadian Organic Growers (COG), Organic Week provides a national platform to strengthen education and engagement around the growing organic sector.
