NORTH LAWRENCE — The Upstate Niagara Cooperative Inc. dairy plant here will share part of $18 million in economic development funding announced Thursday by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.
The company, a privately owned dairy production cooperative, will use a grant of up to $400,000 toward buying, starting up and upgrading the North Lawrence dairy facility for the production of yogurt and other dairy products.
