Love Greek yogurt? Try Maia Yogurt. It’s less sweet than other Greek yogurts and somewhat thicker – and quite delicious. Among the most striking flavors: pineapple. Maia Yogurt is healthier, too. At least that’s what the company maintains. It is made with milk from grass-fed cows and sweetened with pure cane sugar. A 6-ounce container costs between $1.39 and $1.69, depending on the retailer. Maia Yogurt first hit the Garden State last spring at the Millburn-Union location of Whole Foods Market, and has since expanded to North Jersey. Maia Yogurt is available in these local grocery stores: Shop & Shop, A&P, Pathmark, Nicholas Markets in North Haledon and The Fresh Market in Montvale.
