Kroger Launches Program To Provide Milk For Food Banks

Kroger is beginning a program Sunday aimed at helping food banks provide milk for families.

From Sunday through Sept. 27, Kroger’s Atlanta division — which includes Georgia — is inviting customers to participate in its Pour it Forward program by buying icons for $1, $3 or $5 at the checkout to help provide milk for food banks, according to a news release. Kroger is teaming up with the Great American Milk Drive to support Feeding America.

All donations collected in the Macon area will benefit the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank, according to the release.
