LYNNFIELD, MA — HP Hood, the leading dairy brand in New England, today announced that Hood® Cream will serve as title sponsor of Food Truck Festivals of New England's 2014 Food Truck Tour. The tour, which kicks off Saturday, June 7, with The Somerville Food Truck Festival at Assembly Row, will feature a fun and interactive Hood Cream presence including complimentary coffee featuring Hood Cream, a photo booth, games and giveaways. Hood Cream is a key ingredient used by chefs to create delicious dishes, whether they're cooking in a restaurant, at home or even on a food truck.
"We are excited to have such an established and well-known New England brand partnering with us," said Anne-Marie Aigner, founder and executive producer of Food Truck Festivals of New England. "By aligning with Hood Cream this season, it gives us something unique to offer to both the food truck chefs and festival attendees."
The tour, featuring more than 20 different food trucks, will travel to six different locations around New England from June to October 2014:

"This partnership is the perfect opportunity for Hood Cream to expand its support for the rapidly-growing trend of food trucks," said Lynne Bohan, vice president of communications and government affairs at Hood. "Food truck chefs demand high-quality, high-performing ingredients for their dishes, like Hood Cream. We're excited to help bring these delicious dishes to festival attendees."
This partnership is part of Hood Cream's larger campaign with renowned Chef Chris Coombs, owner/chef at Boston-area award-winning restaurants Boston Chops, dbar and Deuxave, designed to show consumers how easy it is to create restaurant-quality dishes using Hood Cream at home. Chef Coombs was announced as the official Hood Cream spokesperson for 2014 earlier this year, and will be on site at select Food Truck Festival events throughout the season.
