Hood Completes $36M Expansion Of Central New York Milk Plant

Oneida, N.Y. — HP Hood has completed a $36 million expansion that the company says will create 25 new jobs at its milk processing facility in Oneida.

The expansion included the installation of an additional milk production line, cold storage, food security and expanded facility capacity, according to the New York Power Authority, which is providing low-cost power for the expansion.

The facility produces 113 milk and fluid products. It supplies major warehouse operations that provide foodservice, retail and wholesale firms with dairy products manufactured in Oneida and from other HP Hood facilities. Hood owns and operates four other plants in New York.
