It's a gouda day for Fair Oaks Farms, the growing agritourism attraction at the border of Jasper and Newton counties.
Fair Oaks Farms Muenster, Sweet Swiss and Smoked Gouda all won awards from the American Cheese Society Judging and Competition in Denver. They were crafted by the dairy farm's master cheesmaker Bruce Workman.
“Fair Oaks Farms is committed to offering unparalleled quality in all of its products,” Fair Oaks Farms Chief Operating Officer Julie Basich said. “We are proud that Bruce’s efforts and Fair Oaks Farms Fine Cheeses have maintained championship recognition.”
