SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — Dean Foods announced they will close their Sheboygan milk plant in April.
The company said the Verifine Dairy Fluid Milk plant at 1606 Erie Ave. will close by the end of April.
The company will continue milk operations at its plant in De Pere. The Sheboygan plant has around 70 employees.
Founded in 1911 as the Sheboygan Dairy Products Company, the company began producing Verifine dairy products at a plant along Water Street and eventually moved to its current plant on Erie Avenue.
