Ciao Bella Gelato, a New Jersey dessert company, said today that it has expanded
its production capacity by moving its gelato making to Eugene from the East
Coast.
The company’s vice president of operations, Tim Fitzpatrick, was already working
in Oregon. He joined the company in 2008 from Oregon dessert manufacturer Turtle
LLC. Executive chef Danilo Zecchin has moved to Oregon to oversee production.
The company did not immediately say how many people will work at its new Eugene
facility.
