Chris Solly has joined Ehrmann® USA, LLC as Chief Executive Officer. One of the leading family-owned yogurt companies in Europe, Ehrmann introduced its decadently creamy yogurt to the United States last year.
Solly will be responsible for managing the Ehrmann brand presence in the United States and he will seek to build brand awareness and grow product distribution first in the Eastern United States.
Solly brings nearly 25 years of experience in brand management and sales in various food categories, most recently as Vice President of Licensed Brands with Greencore USA. His experience spans continents, having launched new brands from Ireland, Hong Kong and Australia into both the U.S. and U.K. markets. Some notable food brands Solly has worked with include Weight Watchers, Heinz, Haagen Dazs and Lea & Perrins.
“I am thrilled and honored to be asked to lead the Ehrmann USA team on its continued expansion into the US market,” said Solly. “We have a fantastic product, unlike anything else currently available, and we will continue to introduce it to new consumers, giving them the opportunity to enjoy the most luxurious yogurt in America.”
This popular brand from Bavaria, Germany, continues to build the presence of its uniquely sumptuous yogurt on dairy shelves along the East Coast. Ehrmann Yogurt in a twin-cup which allows consumers the flexibility to add as much or as little fruit as they like, recently debuted on the shelves in New York at more than 220 ShopRite Supermarket’s and 180 A&P stores.
Made in Brattleboro, Vermont, Ehrmann Yogurt combines modern manufacturing techniques with an old family recipe to create a low fat yogurt that boasts a taste and texture that is completely unlike any other available in America. Offered in five great-tasting fruit flavors and packaged in 5.3 ounce cups that feature a twin-cup to allow for a personalized blend of creamy yogurt and real fruit, each variety contains 150 calories or less and packs seven grams of protein per serving with only 1.5 grams of total fat. Ehrmann Yogurt is a great source of Vitamins A and D.
