SALEM, Ore. — Raw milk producers in Oregon are asking legislators to let them legally advertise their product.
Oregon is among 30 states that allow the sale of unpasteurized milk, but it sets tight restrictions. A law on the books since the 1950s says sellers of raw milk can't advertise.
McMinnville farmer Christine Anderson challenged that after an Oregon Department of Agriculture inspector forced her to remove milk prices from a website.
