Sharon McGukin AIFD, AAF, PFCI a freelance instructional designer and floral commentator from Carrollton, Ga. was installed as president of the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) during the organization’s 2010 National Symposium held in Boston, Mass. (July 3-8). She succeeds Tina Stoecker AIFD, AAF, PFCI of Designs of the Times Florists in Melbourne, Fla. as the volunteer leader of the floral industry’s leading organization in design education.
