NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. –Wonderland Bakery, a specialty bakery and gift concierge, was selected to create the cookies, cupcakes and confections for the MLB All Star post game party hosted at Angel Stadium, Anaheim, Calif., on July 13, 2010.
The Angels, who are hosting the VIP event for over 1,000 guests, players and sponsors, wanted a memorable dessert and Wonderland Bakery was appointed to create the official signature cookie and cupcake for this celebration.
"We are very excited to celebrate the MLB All Star game in our home town,” says Ames. “I have been an Angel’s fan since I was five years old and named the team honorary bat girl,” adds Ames. “Today it’s a dream to be back on the field (this time) with a Wonderland apron delivering a ‘sweet home run’ for the team.”
Founder, Chef Allyson Ames will add the MLB All Star cookies to her sweet line up of events including the Grammy’s, Emmy’s, President Obama’s Inaugural Gala, Best Gingerbread cookie, and other sports teams including the NBA Lakers.
With a loyal nationwide following, and a new location scheduled to open in October at The Grove in Los Angeles, Allyson Ames has created a unique bakery experience that continues to capture our sweet imagination with her whimsical and creative desserts available in stores and online nationwide.
