AUSTIN, TEXAS – Tiff’s Treats, the Austin-based original warm cookie delivery company, will open its doors Monday, July 29, in San Marcos, Texas, at 200 Springtown Way, just in time for local residents and returning students to enjoy hot-out-of-the-oven cookie and brownie delivery this summer.
The new store, located in the Lyndon at Springtown shopping center, allows Texas State University and surrounding areas to receive deliveries of warm, fresh cookies and brownies and cold milk and ice cream in a hurry. Customers can place delivery orders for homes, schools or businesses, or can drop in to satisfy a cookie craving or pick up their order if they prefer. Tiff’s Treats is open for business from 9 a.m. – midnight Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. – midnight Saturday and Sunday.
“Over the past 20 years of delivering warm cookies around Austin, we’ve received a lot of requests from people living, studying and working in San Marcos to open a local Tiff’s Treats, and we’re thrilled to now be a part of this community,” said Tiffany Chen, Tiff’s Treats co-founder.
San Marcos residents can look forward to a grand opening celebration on Saturday, August 24, at 9 a.m. benefiting the Hays County Food Bank, which will receive all of the day’s cookie proceeds. Each Tiff’s Treats store’s grand opening features fan-favorite cookie flavors for $5 a dozen, free gift cards and giveaways and spotlights a local charity.
The charitably-minded cookie company took on $25 million of investor funding in 2017 that has allowed national expansion for the brand and enhancements to its in-house technology to provide the best warm cookie delivery experience. One example of this is the Tiff’s Treats cookie ordering app that allows customers to GPS-track their delivery and to record a digital, augmented reality gift message to accompany their order.
About Tiff’s Treats
Tiff’s Treats created the warm cookie delivery concept. Tiff’s Treats makes classic, baked-to-order cookies and brownies and delivers them straight from the oven to the home or office, WARM, in about an hour or so. Orders can be placed on demand or scheduled for a later date or time. Customers can order seamlessly via phone, online or the Tiff’s Treats app, all of which are supported by industry-leading technology and customer service. Founded in 1999, what started as two friends baking cookies at The University of Texas at Austin to help fellow students get through exams has now grown to 51 stores in Texas, Georgia and Tennessee with more than 1,000 employees, baking more than 100 million cookies since its inception. And the company is consistently focused on giving back: with grand opening fundraisers that fill needs for charities (and hungry bellies for Tiff’s Treats fans!), Tiff’s Treats has donated more than $200,000 to worthy causes.
