Steve Cucinella can’t fix a car to save his life. But when it comes to baking, he’s your man.
Cucinella has 38 years of flour-crusted fingers invested in a family trade. Growing up, his family had a traditional Italian bakery in Rochester, NY. Now he’s running his own bakery.
Cucinella’s Bread Shoppe is located on Apalachee Parkway in the Corners at Cross Creek plaza across from the Samrat Indian Restaurant. They’ve been open for three months. Cucinella runs the bakery with his wife, Donna.
“I met him through the bread,” Donna said, explaining that the bakery at that time was near her job downtown. After reading an article in the Tallahassee Democrat about the bakery, she stopped in the next day.
