Snack and cookie maker Lance Inc. said Friday that it is cutting its work force by 2 percent as part of a series of cost reductions to cope with recent drops in revenue.
Lance's brands include Archway, Cape Cod Potato Chips and Stella D'oro. It also makes snacks that retailers sell under house brands.
The company said in a statement that it informed its employees of the reductions this week and plans no other staff cuts.
