Reading Bakery Systems (RBS) announces the promotion of Shawn Moye to Vice President of Sales. In his new role, Moye will be responsible for managing global new equipment sales through regional sales representatives in North America, Latin America, Europe and Middle East / African regions. Since joining RBS in 1999, Moye has held positions of increasing responsibility, including director of sales, North America; executive director of sales; and most recently vice president of sales, Americas.
Prior to joining Reading Bakery Systems, Moye worked with Frito-Lay, Nabisco and Werner Pfleiderer. After RBS and Thomas L. Green merged in 2001, he worked closely with customers from both sides of the snack business and has been involved in every production system that RBS has supplied within North America since then. He has developed relationships and sales internationally, as well as assisting with other parts of the business as Reading Bakery Systems continues to grow.
Moye is involved with several industry trade associations and committees, including previously serving as the Vice Chairman of the Allied Committee of the B&CMA (Biscuit and Cracker Manufacturer’s Association). He is also a member of the American Society of Baking and The Baker’s Dozen.
