Selling the family business was one of the biggest regrets members of the Kircos family had. The Old Delray Baking Co. was founded in 1910, but had been going even longer.
The company can trace its roots back to putting the bread in saddle bags and riding down the streets of Detroit selling.
“People would come to certain corners at certain times of the day to meet him,” Chris Kircos said.
