WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS — Not all vanilla is alike. The first vanilla beans were grown in Mexico hundreds of years ago. Today, vanilla has traveled the world to exotic locations such as Indonesia, Tahiti and Uganda. Each vanilla bean origin has slightly different flavor profiles.
