On National Hot Dog Day and in the middle of Bun Season, ABA co-hosted the annual Congressional Hot Dog Lunch, which featured buns from member companies to underscore the importance of the baking industry for summer holidays and picnics. Hundreds of hungry attendees, including members of Congress, their staff and industry partners converged in the Rayburn Courtyard on Capitol Hill with hot dogs in-hand to network and enjoy the sun for a lunch break. This year’s lunch coincided with Washington, D.C. hosting the MLB All-Star game, and former players/managers Lou Pinella, Tim Rains and Ray Knight signed baseball gear.
