GRAND RAPIDS – The results are in.
Despite doubt and skepticism from many, it appears a Grand Rapids bakery's doughnut experiment was a rousing success.
There were mixed reactions when The Donut Conspiracy, 1971 East Beltline Ave. NE Ste. 12, announced that it was releasing a Flamin' Hot Cheeto doughnut for one day only.
However, after more than 600 of the cheesy creations were sold in less than two hours, it's hard to argue that the idea wasn't a good one.
