Hudson, NY's Nolita Bakery Cafe Plans Wholesale Bakery

HUDSON — Plans are in the works for a bakery on the east side of town and a hotel on the west.

The Hudson Planning Board approved the bakery Tuesday and heard briefly about the hotel.

The wholesale bakery will soon be producing Spanish breads, cakes and pastries at 78 Green St. Aleth Dumadag and her husband, Michael Putos, are co-owners of Nolita Bakery Cafe, 454 Warren St., and Putos represented his wife at the board meeting. They plan to convert the former Enterprise Car Rental agency, a two-story building located on the front left corner of the lot owned by ceramic artist Arnold Zimmerman.
