Life in general and the daily grind of running a business turned a bit chaotic for the owners of Betsy's Bakery in Hampden Twp.
So in February, Shannon and Betsy Peffley temporarily shut the doors of the popular gluten-free bakery.
For two weeks, the couple refreshed and reworked the business, hiring a new chef, revamping the menus and brightening the shop with new lighting fixtures and menu boards.
Betsy's Bakery reopened on March 4, and its sister store in Harrisburg returned on March 3.
