For the first time, fans of the Heavy Seas Beer can purchase bread made with malt from the Heavy Seas brewing process.
And they won't have to go to the craft brewery in Halethorpe to get it, as it will be available on local grocery stores.
Late last month, just in time for Independence Day, the brewery, in partnership with Hyattsville-based Uptown Bakers, announced that Heavy Seas Brewer's Bread would be available in 10 Giant grocery stores in the Delaware-Maryland-Virginia area.
