Rebecca Lougheed makes pretty cakes. In fact, the Food City staffer wins awards for her skills. She is one of three finalists in the 18th Annual International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association (IDDBA) Cake Decorating Challenge.
The competition is scheduled for the IDDBA’s annual expo, June 2-4, in Orlando.
Lougheed was selected from among 68 entries spanning 31 supermarket chains nationwide, said a news release from the grocery store chain.
She has worked as a cake decorator at Food City on Snapp Ferry Road in Greeneville since 2011, having held a similar position at one of the chain’s Johnson City stores.
