THOMASVILLE, Ga. — Flowers Foods (NYSE: FLO) has named Harish Ramani senior vice president and chief information officer. In this role, Ramani will lead Flowers' information technology operations, with a focus on enhancing key business tools and processes.

Ramani has more than 25 years of IT experience and leadership, most recently serving as global CIO and senior vice president of ARYZTA plc. Prior to ARYZTA, he served as senior vice president and global CIO for Constellation Brands. He began his career with ExxonMobil and has held various IT leadership positions at Dr Pepper/Snapple, Cadbury Schweppes plc., and Red Bull North America.
