A new business in East Peoria is catering to those who aren’t used to having many options when it comes to baked goods.
Good Life Baking, a certified gluten-free bakery run by Nancy Brown and Nicole Hughs, opened March 3 at 1104 N. Main St., East Peoria, across from the Par-A-Dice Casino.
The store sells a variety of gluten-free goods, and the owners also create custom treats for those who avoid allergens such as eggs and dairy.
Since opening, business has been steady, with customers snapping up gluten-free pies, cookies, cupcakes, hamburger buns, pot pies and bread.
