IRVING, Texas — The Darling Ingredients Inc. (NYSE: DAR) Bakery Feeds group announced the acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Custom Blenders, one of the leading bakery residuals recyclers in the United States. The acquisition includes Custom Blenders' operations in Indiana, Georgia, Texas, and Arkansas. Darling does not intend to operate any of Custom Blenders' facilities for any extended period and will integrate all customers, routes, and equipment into Darling's existing infrastructure. The purchase price for the assets is $18.75 million.
