Leawood, Kansas – Carter Wands joins Manildra Group USA as Technical Service Manager, Retail Division for the Lo-Fo Pantry Division. In this role, Mr. Wands will serve as a technical resource to support Manildra’s low FODMAP flours, mixes & retail ready products recently launched in the US grocery trade.

A low FODMAP diet has been shown to help with the symptoms of IBS. With 15% of the US population suffering from IBS, the propriety low FODMAP flour developed by Manildra allows those consumers to enjoy bread, and other wheat-based products, without the concern for FODMAPs. “We have learned, through science, that many consumers who have been avoiding gluten may not have a gluten problem, but actually a FODMAP problem,” Bassi states.
Mr. Wands previously served as product development technologist for Manildra Group in Gladesville, New South Wales, Australia where he created and developed novel low FODMAP flours and mixes for the Australian retail and commercial bakery trades.
